This patient came to us with a severely damaged two front teeth that was determined to be non-restorable due to extensive decay, cracks, and structural breakdown. Because the front teeth could not be saved with a crown or other restorative treatment, extraction was necessary to protect the patient's overall oral health and prevent further complications. The patient wanted a long-term solution that would restore both the appearance and function of the missing front teeth after extractions.
Following the teeth extractions, Dr. John Ku replaced the missing front teeth with two dental implants and two custom implant-supported crowns. The dental implants were placed into the jawbone to serve as a replacement for the natural tooth root, creating a strong and stable foundation for the restoration. Once the implants fully integrated with the bone, custom crowns were attached and carefully designed to match the surrounding teeth.
The result is a natural-looking, fully functional front teeth replacement that blends seamlessly with the patient's smile. The implant-supported crowns restore the appearance of the missing front teeth while allowing the patient to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. In addition, the dental implants help preserve jawbone health and prevents the shifting of neighboring teeth.
